Established in November 2002, we are organized as a Florida Not-for-Profit Corporation, a
voluntary association and a fraternal and social club dedicated to promoting the visibility and
value of the accordion  in Central Florida.  The CFAC is a Social Service Organization and is
exempt from Federal income tax under section 501C4 of the Internal Revenue Code, as
determined by the Internal Revenue Service.

OUR MEMBERS:  The CFAC has over 175 active members, which reflect a range of age,
gender, ethnic music, accordion styles, and skill levels.

GOVERNANCE:  Our leadership/management is vested in a volunteer, elected Governing
Board and various committees, with By-Laws and Articles of Incorporation.  Our Governing
Board meets several times a year and determines all policies for the guidance of the affairs of
the club.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH:  The CFAC works with various non-profit civic, community,
charitable, veterans, educational, and other public entities, within our financial and volunteer
resources, to promote the accordion/button box and to increase appreciation of the accordion
and its musical applications.

PUBLICATIONS:  The CFAC publishes an annual Membership Directory and Resource
Guide
, which is distributed at no cost to our members.
