CFAC is a not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to promote the accordion, encourage accordion players, and maintain public interest in accordion music. We have members who play music in all genres, and with various levels of skill from beginner to highly accomplished. Membership is open to students, hobby players, professionals, instructors--also to enthusiasts even if they don't play.
CFAC presents social programs at three locations every month – Orange, Brevard, and Polk Counties – where members play individually as well as in jam sessions. Guests are invited to play, as time permits. These programs are free and are open to the public.
CFAC has an outreach program, where members volunteer to play for events sponsored by various charitable organizations. There is also a scholarship program available to students from the age of 7 through high school; a scholarship provides ten accordion lessons and an accordion to use during the lessons.
